The Heights Racing Programs

Become a Raving Fan of Snow Sports! From Child to adult, beginner to expert, recreational to competitive we have a program for you.
Our Snow Sports staff consists of CSIA, CSCF and CASI certified instructors from Level I through Level IV.
Ski, Snowboard, Freestyle or Race, please join us this winter.  Details are available in our brochure or check with the Snow Sports desk.

 


ADULT Racing- 6weeks


January 10 to February 21, 2010
Sunday 9:30- 11:30 AM
Fee $250.00 minimum of 6 participants required.
For the racer in all of us, be you new to gates or ex-racer. This 6-week program will include one Slalom race and 1 GS race So get ready for Club Championships! Coach to be announced!

Pre Season Camp - December 27 to 30th, 2009

Fee: $240.00 and includes Time Trials on Dec. 31/09
This 4-day camp is available to all racers and will focus on ski & race skills plus plenty of mileage.

Time Trials – December 31st, 2009

Fee: $60 NOT APPLICABLE IF ENROLLED IN PRE-SEASON CAMP

Valley League (6-10yrs) - One Day Only

NOTE: This Program is offered on Saturdays OR Sundays ONLY (for full weekend program, see item #44 in the brochure)
Prerequisite: Children must be able to get on and off the chairlift unaided and to ski under control at all times.
Fee: $280.00
This 9-week program (one day per weekend) will have 3 fun races during the program, with emphasis on fun, and development of good technique. Time trials not required, Skier’s helmets are recommended at all times.

Valley League (6 to 10 yrs) – Two Days

Prerequisite: Must be able to get on and off the chairlift unaided and to ski under control at all times.
Fee $455.00
This program will provide an introduction to racing on both days of each week-end and participants will have 3 races during the 9 weeks, with emphasis on fun, and development of good technique. Time trials are not required. Helmets are recommended at all times.

Nancy Greene (7 to 10 yrs)

Prerequisite: Time trials mandatory, and included in the fee. No race experience necessary.
Fee: $770.00
This 9-week two days per weekend program focuses on team performance, skill development and having fun. Skiers must be able to get on and off the chairlift unaided and ski under control at all times. There will be travel to other ski areas approximately three times per winter. Helmets are recommended at all times but are mandatory for races and gate training.

K1 Race Team (Ages 11 to 12 yrs)
(Preseason Camp is recommended)

Prerequisite: Time Trials are mandatory and are included in the fee. No race experience necessary.
Fee: $860.00
This 9-week two days per week-end program focuses on team performance. Racers will travel to other ski areas approximately 3 times, during the season. Helmets are recommended at all times but are mandatory for races and gate training.

K2 Race Team (Ages 13-14 yrs)
(Preseason Camp is recommended)

Prerequisite: Time Trials are mandatory and are included in the fee. No race experience necessary.
Fee: $860.00
This 9-week two day per week-end program focuses on team performance. Racers will travel to other ski areas approximately 3 times during the season. Helmets are recommended at all times but are mandatory for races and gate training.

“J” Race Team (Ages 15+)

Prerequisite: Time trials mandatory and included in the fee. No race experience necessary.
Fee: $860.00
Skiers can race for the first time. This 9-week two day per week-end program focuses on team performance. Racers will travel to other ski areas approximately 3 times. Helmets are recommended at all times but are mandatory for races and gate training.
 
 

RACE PROGRAMS

Racing Programs are 9-weeks unless otherwise stipulated

Start: Saturday, January 2, 2010 to Sunday February 27, 2010

AOS Fee,GST (where applicable), and 8 Raffle Tickets included   
Time: 9:30 to 11:30 and 12:30 to 2:30.

Race Programs include the Race Banquet on Saturday, March 6th, 2010, entry into Club Championship races on Saturday, March 6th, 2010.   The Race Banquet will begin with awards at 4:30PM followed by dinner. Non-participants can purchase tickets from the Club office.
